Coventry and the surrounding Warwickshire countryside has a huge range of lakes and rivers for fishermen of all abilities to enjoy. Coventry City Council manages Coombe Pool Fishery, a mature estate lake covering 80 acres set in a beautiful 400 acre Country Park.

Blythe Waters Fishery

Clattercote Reservoir

Coombe Pool

Description: The lake is comprised of two banks. The public bank has 100 pegs and is open all season. The Lindley bank (is only accessible for season ticket holders or pre-booked matches) comprises 40 pegs.

Kingsbury Water Park

Description: One of the largest and most diverse fisheries in the Midlands with a total of 13 landscaped lakes in a scenic country park.

Lanny's Lagoon
Where to find us: Fosse Way, Stretton-under-Fosse
Description: A secluded fishery just off the Fosse Way, surrounded by five and a half acres of woodlands and offers two pools. Fish: carp, roach, rudd, perch, tench and barbel.
Information for people with disabilities: Disabled anglers and OAPs can park their vehicles next to the cabin overlooking the pools if they ring the fishery in advance. Cabin equipped with a chemical toilet. Registered disabled anglers can fish free of charge on the Middle Lake at Lanny's Lagoon.
Tickets: Day tickets (Dawn to Dusk) £5/£3. After 4pm (Summer) £3/£1.50. Day tickets are available from the on-site cabin and the fishery is available for club matches at £5.00 per peg.

Meadowlands

Packington Somers Fisheries

Description: Six pools, four smaller ponds and one-mile stretch of the River Blythe. Fishing lodge which incorporates a tackle shop, cafe and toilets for both able-bodied and disabled visitors.

Ryton Pools Country Park

Description: Superb facilities for a family day out with walks to Ryton Wood, children's play areas, a hide for bird observation and several picnic areas. Visitor Centre with on-site toilets and cafe.

Tickets: Annual membership costs £26 for adults and £14 for OAPs, disabled and junior anglers. Entrance to the park costs £1.50 per vehicle. All anglers must have a valid Leamington Angling Association membership book together with an Environment Agency rod licence.

5 Ways Lakes

Description: Two lakes, one a carp-only pleasure water, the other a mixed-fish match and pleasure venue. Car parks by both lakes, an on-site cabin which sells baits and hot and cold drinks with toilets. The fishery is also a registered Caravan Club site for touring caravans.
Information for people with disabilities: Suitable for disabled anglers who are allowed to drive their vehicles closer to their pegs when weather permits.
